Who doesn’t love a black boot? Many times, a dimpled texture that I have used to decorate my pots, have been compared ostrich skin. I decided to lean into it and also reference the Navajo cowboy culture that accompanies our dedicated livestock life ways.
The boots are a hand made with mostly coils and some slab work for the sole. It is stone polished and incised to mimic stitching in the design. It if fired outdoors and reduced to blacken the surface. Both boots are a set. They are both signed “Jared Tso 2025”
